Being a Woman

Experience is something different for everybody. Women all around the world live in different situations, and there are so many issues to talk about. However, with these pictures, I wanted to suggest some while glorifying the female. This image started as an invitation to the possibility of a matriarchal society, but it ended up hiding more: such as oppression represented by the chains: different cultures and different costumes, like Muslim women's and the burqa; the male gaze since the golden parts of the picture are also the most sexualised. So this image is open to different levels of interpretation, but always with the final intent to be whoever we want, however we want and to do it for ourselves.
